Sarah Whebbe is the Senior Policy & Regulatory Affairs Associate for the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association. She attends Mitchell Hamline School of Law and is expected to graduate in 2025.
Sarah has an extensive background in the direct deployment of distributed solar energy and energy storage technologies to the electric grid. Previously, Sarah worked directly with clean energy consumers as a Solar Consultant, originating Behind-the-Meter solar and storage projects for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. She has also served in the role of Policy Analyst for a solar installer. She brings both a “boots on the roof” perspective and legal training to her work in energy legislation and energy regulatory policy.
